Programs
LPC offers year-round programs for toddlers and preschoolers with flexible scheduling: two, three, or five days a week, mornings through full day.
Our Approach
LPC is a play-based program. Our emergent curriculum follows each child’s interests and curiosity rather than a one-size-fits-all boxed program. This works because of our teachers, many with a decade or more of experience, who bring intentionality and continuous training to every interaction.
Our teachers participate in regular in-service training days throughout the year. Our curriculum and classroom practices are reviewed and updated based on current research in early childhood development. Rather than purchasing a packaged curriculum, we invest directly in our teaching team through ongoing professional development.
Toddlers (15 months – 2.9 years)
Ratio: 8 children to 2–3 teachers
Classrooms: 3
Our youngest learners explore through sensory play, music, art, and outdoor discovery. With some of the best ratios in the area, every child gets the individual attention they need during this critical developmental period.

Preschool (2.9 – 5 years)

Ratio: 10 children to 2 teachers
Classrooms: 3
Through projects, art, storytelling, outdoor exploration, and social play, preschoolers build the literacy, problem-solving, and social skills they need for kindergarten and beyond. Our teachers stay current with best practices in early childhood education, deepening the work with each passing year.

Summer: Camp LPC
Every July and August, the whole center shifts into summer mode. Same great teachers, same ratios, but the schedule moves outdoors and the programming gets adventurous. In summer, a third group joins: Big Kid Camp for children turning 5 and heading to Kindergarten.
